Hi Everyone, I just wanted to tell you about some new products that I stumbled upon. They are liquid herbs that I got from http://www.wonwithnature.com I originally got them for me. One was oliveleaf and oregano oil, and the other is liquid iodine. They have great reviews on them so I decided to give them a try, Within a couple of days, I noticed increased energy and a feeling of well being. At the same time, I had a sick bantam cochin rooster. He had a bad cold. His eyes were swollen and his nose was running. He was also listless. I had been giving him antibiotics, but they were not helping. I was afraid that I was going to lose him. I decided to put some of the oliveleaf and oregano oil in his waterdish. Within a day he had made almost a 100% recovery! With winter here, I decided to put it in all of my other birds water. Boy have I noticed a difference in all of the birds! They act more alert, feather quality is better. This stuff is also a natural wormer, so it works that way too! Please check out this website. You will be doing yourself and your birds a favor! Plus it is cheap! Nancy

Hello Again!:) Fall is upon us here in Colorado! Its been quite a year! I hatched several chicks which grew into very nice young birds! I have sold off most all of my youngsters. I do have a few left for sale. I have sold off part of my adult stock as feed was getting to be outragous! I hated to see them leave, but I had to let them go.:(
I have a show coming up in a week which is the Rocky Mountain Feather Fanciers show. I will be showing alot of my youngsters as they have matured into lovely young adults! This week will consist on prepping the birds for show. (Bathing, nail trimming, cage training etc.) My plans on hitting up several shows this fall and winter have been put on the back burner. I got a new boss at work who is not as flexable as the other boss. I would really like to go to more shows, but money is tight, so I better cater to my job. AT LEAST I HAVE A JOB! which I am thankful!!
I will be getting my NPIP testing done in another week. I definatly want to keep my birds in tip top condition! I hope all of you will have a good show season with your birds! Drop me a line if you have any bird questions. ojnancy@msn.com
Regards, Nancy

Hi Everyone! Im back from my spring show, and I put most of the birds into breeding pens. I did fairly well at the show. I made it to champion row with 2 birds! Both were D'Anvers. I got Champion RCCL with a black D'Anver Pullet, and Reserve champion RCCL with a quail D'Anver Pullet. I also got top Brahma, and Hamburg of the show. Came away with about 75.00 in cash. Now I have to concentrate on youngsters! Check my photo page for pictures of the show!
